Hexagon Dungeon is a puzzle game with strategy overtones where players can build their own dungeon and face off against all the invaders trying to penetrate your kingdom. The way you battle them consists of strategically placing creatures on a hexagonal board.

The game system in Hexagon Dungeon is highly reminiscent of other puzzle games like Triple Town. The idea is simple: when you place three units together in the same level, they merge to create a new, higher-level piece. Like this you can level up all your units, up to a maximum of eight.

That said, the hexagonal puzzles are just one part of Hexagon Dungeon. Another important part is the building and management of your dungeon. With the money you earn by playing the puzzles you can buy new rooms. Each of them offers a series of benefits the next time you play one of the puzzles.
